These contact lenses are those of Itachi, who was a prodigy of the Uchiha clan. Although his praise and right to fame were quickly destroyed the night he became a most wanted criminal by murdering his entire clan and family. The only person he spared that night was his younger brother Sasuke.

Afterwards he became a wanted fugitive who joined up with the malicious group known as Akatsuki. During missions he came into contact with leaf ninja shinobi and his brother Sasuke who was obsessed and determined in killing Itachi for what he did.

However, eventually the real intentions and political motive behind the Uchiha clan assassintation were brought into light. And after this it seemed that Itachi was really a hero to the leaf village all along.

Itachi managed to awaken and fully master all stages of the sharingan by the age of eight years old. His skills were superior to almost any member of his clan even from an earlier age; and he seemed to be able to keep his sharingan active nearly all of the time will little drain to his chakra.

Like most his sharingan enabled him to predict enemy movements, have an enhanced perception and see chakra. However, Itachi also had a special ability in his extreme proficiency in genjutsu, which allowed him to use Izanami (the lesser version of Izanagi).

Itachi awaked his mangekyou sharingan after the death of his friend Shisui Uchiha. With this he was granted further remarkable abilities like his Tsukuyomi. A genjutsu that allowed Itachi to trap his opponent in an illusionary world he controlled. In it he would manipulate time to torture his victims for hours, days, or even months which really equated to only a few seconds in the real world.

In his right mangekyou he could the eternal burning black flames known as amaterasu. He was also able to summon Susanoo as well. However, with all of Itachi’s power he was still not immune to the ill effects from prolonged use of the mangekyou. Slowly losing his vision over time; by the end of his life he became nearly blind.
