This is our Haku Mask keychain. It depicts Haku’s hunter-nin mask, with its narrow slit eye openings, markings of the Kirigakure symbol etched on the forehead, and red swirl pattern over the jaw. The keychain itself is made from metal with great attention to detail, making it an excellent addition to any Haku fan’s collection.
Prior to becoming a Mercenary Ninja partnered with Zabuza Momochi, Haku was born in a small, snow village and was the descendent of the Yuki clan residing in the Land of Water.
During his brief appearance in the series, Haku was a 15 year old boy with long black hair, fair skin, a slim build, and an androgynous appearance. He was said to be beautiful; for instance, Naruto had mentioned that he was “prettier than Sakura”. Haku’s regular attire consisted of a green haori and brown sash around his waist, with platoon sandals and painted nails. Haku wore a mask when he was on the hunt or during battle. This mask is what’s featured in our keychain for sale, with its narrow slit eyes, a red swirl pattern on the jaw, and the etchings of the Kiragakure symbol on the forehead.
Haku was always a good-hearted person, even after becoming a killing machine for Zabuza. Whenever Haku could, he would deliberately go out of his way to not fatally injure the opponents he would face; instead, often rendering them unconscious in order to bring a temporary end to the battle. Yet, despite being gentle, Haku was an incredibly gifted and eager fighter that believed true strength came from protecting those who you love.
Haku’s childhood was met with tragedy that would ultimately change him at a deep level. His parents were peaceful farmers who loved each other as well as Haku. However, unbeknownst to Haku’s father, Haku’s mother was a user of kekkei genkai: a bloodline ability that allows its user to utilize unique and powerful techniques that only members of their bloodline can use.
Now, the people of Haku’s village had recently been ravished by war, where bloodline users had occupied the ranks of fighters. And after seeing the horrors that the bloodline users were capable of, the people from Haku’s village were fearful of them, insistent that their existence would only bring about more war. One day, Haku suddenly found out he was capable of manipulating ice, and his father had witnessed it. After realizing that both his son and wife were secretly kekkai genkai users, he reported them to the village. Haku’s father then proceeded to kill his mother and tried to do the same to Haku. However, Haku was able to fight back and managed to kill his father and the rest of the mob.
Afterwards, Haku was left an orphan. He roamed the streets cold and hungry, eating out of trash bins and sometimes even fighting off dogs in order to acquire food. What made things even worse for Haku is that he was now left without purpose or anyone to care for him. That is, until a man named Zabuza Momochi approached him. Claiming that Haku possessed the “same eyes as him”, Zabuza asked Haku to be his companion, on the condition that he became his weapon in helping him defeat his enemies. Currently having no purpose in life or place to go, Haku eagerly accepted his new role. From this point on, Zabuza would train Haku in the ways of the shinobi, teaching him all of his techniques, and Haku would grow to see Zabuza almost a father to him. This sentiment would later climax prior to Zabuza and Haku’s death when Kakashi noted how much Zabuza seemed to care for him.
Are you a fan of Haku? If so, then why not pick up our Haku keychain and let everyone remember the gentle shinobi of exceptional skill and loyalty.
