Founded in 2014, NarutoEyes has become one of the internet’s most popular and trusted retailer for Naruto lenses.

The unfortunate reality is that when it comes to costume lenses there can be a large degree of difference in quality between one lens brand and the next.

It is our belief that you should never have to sacrifice on quality or safety to get the look you’re after. It’s why our primary focus since day one has been to prioritize our customers health; to provide lenses only from the most reputable manufacturers with exceptional international health and safety certifications.

How We Started

When we first opened in 2014, we spent a deal of time scouring the globe for a manufacturer that could provide us with the best quality lens product.

On the surface, our criteria seemed simple enough:

Now, while we eventually did find our ideal manufacturer — one who excelled above the rest in meeting our criteria — it wasn’t easy.

As it turns out, there are many manufacturers out there who are able to produce Naruto-style contact lenses.

However, the real issue is that the difference in quality between them can be huge.

For instance, when we first started, we initially began ordering Naruto lenses from every circle lens retailer on the internet we could find that sold them.

We did this in order to gauge the quality of what other popular contact lens retailers were selling as well as to compare them against each other.

One of the issues with ordering lenses online is that you can’t really tell how good they are until you get them.

Oftentimes, the product photos are blurry or they are all using the same basic sharingan lens design images.

Below is an up close and personal picture of a popular Naruto lens that’s sold at many other online stores — it’s what we received from a popular circle lens retailer.

#2: Our lenses have a thick and pronounced limbal ring, which not only gives a more pronounced, natural and aesthetic look, but also adds a slight enlarging effect. In contrast, our competitors limbal ring is practically non-existent and has a poorly done, jagged and choppy finish.

#3: You might also notice the clear difference in attention to detail between each lens. Notice our competitors lenses are slightly asymmetrical with the tips of each triangle’s point not ending off in the same location as each other.

On the other hand, when looking at our lenses, you will notice that all three points extend perfectly into the same locations as each other. Another takeaway is the difference in how the triangles sweep around to form the pin-wheel looking design of Kakashi’s sharingan: while ours are slick and have a perfect circular curve, our competitors just sort of droop downwards.

Lastly, is the actual three triangles themselves: ours are much more skillfully done with accuracy and a consistent tapering effect.

#4: The final difference worth mentioning is the lack of a black ring where the the iris meets the pupil on our competitors lenses. In contrast, ours feature a black ring with a fading effect to create a more seamless transition between the design of the lens and your pupil.

The lack of quality and rather poor design shown in our competitors’ kakashi contacts is not an isolated incident either, as can be seen from other competitor madara lenses when directly compared to NarutoEyes’.

A Bit About Our Manufacturing Process and Certifications

Our high quality Naruto circle lenses are produced using the Spraying and Sandwich method with the strictest attention to quality and cleanliness. This involves sandwiching the vibrant pigments (colour) between two layers of HEMA coating  to prevent the colour bleeding into the wearer’s cornea. In contrast, inexpensive lower quality lenses are coated with only one layer of pigment and HEMA coating to reduce the manufacturing cost.
